Well, if I had intentionally misnumbered my tidbits in order to generate interest, it would have been a great ploy. Unfortunately, that was not the case; but I am happy to report that I have received a good response! I would like to say that my numbering system is not ordinal, but nominal, but that would be a lie. First, it would imply that I actually knew the difference between the two without looking them up. Second, it would imply that this was intentional. So, let’s chalk it up to retirement and not having a need to be a stickler for details. My mind is now free to wander and come up with creative numbering! All of which is to say, that no one received Tidbit #7. I just went from #6 to #8. There really is a good explanation for my mistake, but it is a long and extremely boring story. So for all of you who are still gainfully employed and function better within the time honored parameters of ordinal numbers: Our conference is only 2 ˝ weeks away. We will be at the Mount Washington Hotel before you know it. !

This is it! I am sending out the last e-blast regarding the “Climbing to New Heights” NEAER Conference. I would like to thank everyone who has been following these e-blasts and have kept themselves apprised of conference announcements. At this time next week the conference will have begun and we will all be enjoying the hotel, scenery, workshops and each other’s company. Thursday evening is dinner on your own at the resort. Call 800-258-0330 for reservations. Dining will be followed by Contra Dancing with live music in the Grand Ballroom starting at 8:30. That sounds like a lot of fun! I'll be there!

Contest entry forms will be available at the conference. The first entry form selected with all of the correct answers is the winner! Good luck to everyone and thank you for participating.

On a personal note, I would like to recognize all of the New Hampshire and Vermont people who have have given so much time and have worked so hard organizing this conference. It takes a tremendous amount of commitment and effort. Thank you all.
